Why Kidzoles?
Kidzoles are different prefabricated orthotic designs with the same cover. They change as the foot and lower limb develops and the requirements of load in our kids changes.
There job is to help relieve/prevent foot and lower limb pain presented commonly at certain ages for Everyday Active Kids.
Kidzoles are not designed for children with a Neurological diagnosis and these children should see a Podiatrist consultation.
Kidzoles are unique because:
Considers boney morphology and growth plates in the foot
Tissue flexibility and how these tissues function in a painful foot/leg
Kidzoles designs change as the child’s foot matures
Contain pitch points which work through functional support of the rearfoot and ankle.
Features to prevent common lower limb and foot pain
Materials to support everyday use.
They will fit into everyday shoes and slimline sports shoes
Affirmation cover that encourages our children to move and thrive.

*MATTHEW AND STACEY KEATING ( PODIATRISTS)
I started my career in Podiatry over 20 years ago with a special interest in Children’s and Sports Podiatry. During my Career I have run successful Podiatry Businesses with my Husband Matt, who is also a Podiatrist.
For many years we ran our own Custom Orthotic Prescription Lab. This is where we would make orthotics via prescription for Podiatrist’s and send them out to their clinics be fitted. It is during the time spent in our Lab that we honed our skills in design and manufacture of orthotics.
Matt followed his passion into Lecturing and mentoring Podiatry Students in University. I followed mine to help support childrens feet as they grow, by making the Kidzoles orthotics line.
Kidzoles philosophy is to provide minimal pitch and pivot points to the rearfoot margins of a child’s foot to assist movement. We don’t overcontrol the feet with high arches that can weaken foot health long term. We also provide stretch and strengthening programs.
The truth is, for most everyday Kids, costly custom made orthotics that our children grow out of quickly are not warranted. Prefabricated orthotics are well supported by research and do an excellent job at guiding and supporting foot mechanics.
I believe in a holistic approach to managing Kids foot health. Combining prefabricated orthotics, exercise programs, pain relief tools and mindfulness practices. I have put all of these practices together in our Heel Pain and Flat foot programs to help our kids live their best lives.
“Only 19% of children get their recommended level of daily exercise.”
The fact is that so many Kids are just completely uncomfortable in exercise. Their foot position has a huge baring on their body movement and ability to absorb load. Early intervention to build strong healthy feet helps makes such a difference to these kids lives and their ability to stay active.
With love,
Stacey
